Good Friday 10/04/2020

Good Friday this year is different. No big feast & gathering. Even quiet streets, motionless cities, self-isolation.

I coloured the easter page from ‘seasons colouring book’ after listened to a virtual church service from Anchor Church in my room. Took notes from good news. Wrote whatever thoughts & verses that came into my head. Surely our regular busyness in the world can stop today; our day to day work, our secure income – But not His plans for us & our creativity.

After service, me & my Newtown GC squad also had a virtual video call how we can bless others in midst of time like this; one bought chocolate easter eggs & creating letters for their neighbours, the other mate created fun games to entertain people around her, another friend baked cupcakes to share it with her housemates, the rest just created some special home activities to take care of their family. Surely those are small things, but those are really matters actually. Simple wonderful acts of love. I’m so grateful since I’m back in this community we are able to grow together. And Jesus still using imperfect humans like us to share His love to people around us.

Kindness is no small thing. We always better together. Love this GC squad that reminds each other to serve no matter what; even through highways & byways, inside or outside church.
